Children’s Ministry

Christ Our Hope Kids partners with parents to disciple kids to love and trust Jesus as their personal Savior. We are passionate about the discipleship of young hearts, and our hope is to see the children of our church develop a rich and robust faith that they will then go on to share with their “children yet unborn, [who will] arise and tell them to their children” (Psalm 78:5-6). Currently, there are two different levels of children’s ministry—Nursery and Elementary.

Preschool & Kindergarten

Our Preschool ministry serves children ages 4 months old through 5 years old. Preschool is divided into four classrooms that meet during the Worship Service at 10:30 am, and the Kindergarten Class meets after the Passing of the Peace in the Worship Service. In all of these classrooms, our children are learning from The Gospel Project for Kids. This curriculum walks the children through the Bible, chronologically, for 3 years before starting over. 

  • Baby Class — 4months—17 months

  • Toddler Class — 18 months—29 months 

  • PreK 3s Class — 2.5 years—3 years old 

  • PreK 4s Class — 4–5 years old (not yet in Kindergarten)

  • Kindergarten Class – ***This class starts after the Passing of the Peace in the Worship Service.

Elementary

Our Elementary serves children in grades 1st through 5th and is divided into two classrooms. In these classrooms, the students are learning from The Gospel Project for Kids. This curriculum walks the kids through the Bible, chronologically, for 3 years before starting over. We believe this repetition helps solidify the truths of the Bible in young hearts. Both Elementary classes meet at 9 am so that students can attend the worship service with their parents. 

  • Lower Elementary Class — 1st & 2nd Grade

  • Upper Elementary Class — 3rd–5th Grade
